Into the Light: A Kundalini Spring Equinox Retreat

Mar 20, 2027 – Mar 27, 2027

Come join me, Rachel O’Connor of Solas Yoga, on this special retreat in magical Haramara.

In the Irish language, solas means light—a name that beautifully reflects a practice rooted in awakening, renewal, and the growing light of spring.

After attending several retreats at Haramara, I’m delighted to lead my own retreat here, and I’m thrilled to share it with you. Together, let’s welcome the arrival of spring and mark the Spring Equinox—a moment of balance, growth, and new beginnings.

As the natural world begins to blossom, we’ll gather to pause, reconnect, and make space for what wants to emerge. This retreat is an invitation to nourish your whole being—mind, body, and spirit—while stepping away from the demands of daily life and immersing yourself in the rhythms of nature.

Each day will begin with a sunrise sadhana—surrounded by the awakening rainforest—followed by mid-morning practices that weave together kundalini movement, flow, breathwork, chanting, and meditation. Evenings offer a softer rhythm, with somatic practices designed to help you settle deeply into your body and restore. Between yoga sessions, there will be plenty of time to rest, nourish, connect, explore, adventure, and simply be.

This sacred gathering is a chance to meet yourself exactly where you are, allow the shedding of beliefs that no longer serve you, and reconnect with your inner light. Together, we’ll create space for fresh intentions, deeper wellbeing, and the possibility of a new beginning.

Pause. Listen. Receive.

Come join me on this special Kundalini Spring Equinox retreat in magical Haramara.

“Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning
That is at one with your life’s desire.

Awaken your spirit to adventure;
Hold nothing back, learn to find ease in risk;
Soon you will be home in a new rhythm,
For your soul senses the world that awaits you.”

— From For a New Beginning, John O’Donohue

About the Instructor:

Rachel O’Connor has been teaching yoga for more than 20 years. Healing, self-inquiry, and growth are at the heart of her work. She brings a warm, grounded approach to her teaching, inviting students to turn inward, listen deeply, and connect with their inner wisdom.

Rachel has taught in group and private settings to a wide range of students, including teens, athletes, and people navigating health challenges. Her teaching draws from hatha yoga (RYT-200), essential yoga therapy (RYT-500), and kundalini yoga (RYT-220), along with mind-body health coaching and somatic work.

On retreat, Rachel weaves together kundalini movement, breathwork, meditation, and chanting, as well as somatic and restorative practices to create space for participants to go within and reconnect with what matters most to them. Her intention is not to prescribe a particular way of being, but to invite curiosity, release what no longer serves, and make space for what’s possible.
