Santosha Retreat Mexico

Oct 22, 2022 – Oct 30, 2022

Santosha Retreat

Santosha (skt. संतोष saṃtoṣa)  is the second of the Niyamas of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga – it roughly translates as contentment.

Our Yoga Retreat experience is based on nature, finding a connection to our pranayama force (breathing) and exploring our 5 different bodies (koshas) in a deeper way.

The fast pace and the lockdowns in these past 2 years, created a different reality we have been spending a lot of time on screens and electronics for long periods of time.  Our nervous system and body-mind connection need to recalibrate and find CONTENTMENT wherever we are, which nowadays can be a real challenge for a lot of people.  We invite you to join us for a week to practice conscious attention on the present without judgment, or expectation– which is the key to Santosha.

We will be disconnected to be able to connect with our Pacha Mama and find ourselves surrounded by nature in beautiful Haramara. 3 daily practices will be included daily, a variety from meditation, energy, restorative, and self-development.

“Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.” – Lao Tzu
