Nourish Retreat with Tara Judelle

Apr 8, 2023 – Apr 15, 2023

More than ever before, we feel the desire to create experiences that nourish our physical/mental well-being to provide touchstones for the ground of our truth.

Nature is calling us here – in both the inner and outer environment.

This is why I have chosen to offer this special retreat into Sayulita, Mexico.

We will spend 8 days and 7 nights nestled above the Pacific Ocean on 12 private acres of a tropical jungle with a private and pristine beach, nurturing ourselves back to the mother ocean.

Haramara Retreat is a magical, idyllic place created and designed to provide a natural, supportive environment for relaxing, renewing and restoring well-being, using the elements of nature to usher us into the ground of being.

We will nourish our inner landscape through meditation, asana, free movement, lecture and mantra, to help harmonize us with the essential cues whispered from the jungle to the liquid ocean.

Packages include:

Haramara, meaning “mother Sea,” is described as the place “where Robinson Crusoe meets Architectural Digest.”  Located in the breathtaking coastal Riviera Nayarit near the fishing village and surfing town of Sayulita, this intimate seaside yoga resort offers tropical harmony for our yoga and wellness experience.

The magnificent yoga pavilions, with their high thatched roofs and handcrafted hardwood floors, take advantage of the panoramic views  of lush mountains accompanied by the whisper of the soothing ocean breezes.

FOOD

Exceptional, creative, local cuisine is offered at the restaurant, including fresh and delicious mostly organic gourmet meals.

About the Instructor:

Tara’s classes focus on the discovery of embodied anatomy, bringing to the yogic tradition a scientific yet playful study of the movement vocabulary of the body and the ever-expanding perceptual awareness of the human mind.  Classes are seen as a journey of awakening to the flavors of self through the felt sense of the body/mind.

The quest to harmonize body/mind/spirit started from an early age. For over 40 years Tara has experimented with all forms of movement flow – from dance, Tai Chi, movement improvisation and yoga, looking for experiences that bridge embodiment and flow.   Originally certified in the hatha Anusara™ method, the teachings of Kashmir Shaivsim as taught by Sally Kempton and Carlos Pomeda, shifted the quest from asana to bridging the felt sense of meditation in movement.

Since 2008 the somatic sensibility of embodied anatomy inspired by Body Mind Centering(R) drastically shifted the emphasis on teaching form with philosophy to inhabiting the felt sense of the inner experience guiding and filling our the corporeal information. In a quest to bring the living essence of the classic tantric teachings into an embodied journey Tara co-created the School of Embodied Flow™ in 2014 to bring her current passions together into a modern movement of Yoga.  Embodied Flow is a continuum of movement that integrates somatics, tantric philosophy, asana, and free movement to bring awakeness to the whole body mind.  Embodied Flow has certified and inspired teachers in 20 countries, and is practiced by students from over 40 joining the quest to create the harmony of living, movement and flow.
