Mexico Yoga Retreat

Nov 30 – Dec 5, 2025

Join AnneSophie and Claire in Haramara’s magical setting—where jungle meets ocean—to unplug, drop in, and reset. Through daily yoga, connection, creativity, and reflection, and plenty of time just to be- we’ll explore the Niyamas and how these timeless teachings can guide us both on and off the mat.

The Niyamas are personal observances to cultivate inner discipline and positive habits.

They include:

  1. Shaucha (Purity)

  2. Santosha (Contentment)

  3. Tapas (Discipline)

  4. Svadhyaya (Self-study)

  5. Ishvara Pranidhana (Surrender)

The Niyamas invite you to approach your practice with intention and self-awareness. They remind us that yoga is not just a physical practice but a pathway toward greater clarity, purpose, and peace.

What to Expect:

  1. Morning: A strong yet fluid functional movement practice with guided meditation led by AnneSophie in Haramaràs panoramic yoga Shala surrounded by nature’s oceanic sounds.

  2. Mid-day: We’ll dive deeper into our exploration of the Niyamas through guided reflection and journaling, intentional connection, artistic expression and optional, additional movement & breathwork practices.

  3. Evening: A more yin, restorative practice and/or more opportunities for coming together in community.

Free Time:
Immerse yourself in the beauty of Haramara—a sacred Huichol Indian word meaning “Mother Sea,” the source of everything. You’ll feel her powerful presence and healing energy as you take the time to simply be and undo. Raked daily, the paths throughout the retreat center invite a deep connection to Mother Earth, allowing the bareness of your feet and the rhythm of the crashing waves to guide your journey of self-reflection and inner inquiry.

While the retreat is rich and intentionally immersive, there will also be spaciousness—moments carved out for rest, exploration, and integration. During your free time, you may choose to:

  • Walk on the beautiful beach

  • Lounge beside the infinity-edge pool

  • Book a massage or a holistic treatment

  • Wander through Sayulita’s vibrant town, artisan markets, and cozy cafés

  • Embark on a jungle hike and bask in the surrounding natural beauty

  • Participate in an optional Tamazcal ceremony

The Food:

3 delicious, gourmet meals per day are included in your stay. Curated based on fresh ingredients and the catch of the day, Haramara’s chef plans all daily meals from their local and organic pickings. They can accommodate any dietary needs and restrictions. Additional snacks and smoothies are available at the pool lounge.

About the Instructors:

AnneSophie has been teaching yoga since 2013 in the Bay Area. As a facilitator, her intention is to support her students through the seasons of life. After teaching such a wide range of modalities she strikes to find the right balance between strength and tone with fluid movement into her practices. Inviting her students to tune into their intuitive guidance. Yoga has been the grounding force into her life and loves to share this sacred practice with others.

Claire (200 hr RYT) is a lifelong yogi passionate about bringing the wisdom of yoga beyond the mat and into daily life. She sees yoga as a powerful tool for self-inquiry, helping us recognize and shift samskaras (habitual patterns) to cultivate greater intention and awareness. With a background in the food industry and a love for gathering people, Claire creates nourishing, welcoming spaces- on and off the mat- where connection and community can flourish.
