About the Instructor:

Emily is a yoga teacher and international retreat leader with over a decade of teaching experience. Shortly after getting a degree in Psychology, Emily completed her first 200 hour yoga certification in San Diego. Since then she has continued to deepen her studies with a 500 hour Prana Flow training, a 200 hour Hatha training and master immersion courses. Through her years of teaching and learning, Emily has discovered that the essence of yoga is really quite simple. It is a practice of being present in the body. Adding a strong voice to the conversation around mental and emotional health, Emily wants to change the way we relate to our inner world. This is why she teaches yoga – to provide an entry point, a place to lean into what is happening inside the container of the body so that we can live life fully present and alive.

Emily spends her day-to-day teaching private, corporate and public classes in Portland, Oregon. She also offers a variety of workshops and destination retreats throughout the year.
