A Personal Note From The Owner:

Years ago I asked myself –

Could all the basic principles of the yogic understanding of life materialize into a place where all aspects of the transformation process, on all levels of our being, can take place in the simplicity, beauty, peace and depth of a natural, open, healing and safe space, where the breath of life can permeate every minute of our stay and our encounter with truth? Could the eightfold path of yoga be followed naturally in an environment which in itself seems to be suspended in a state of meditation?

That was the question.

Could I communicate this without words to others so that we could all heal together and become whole?

That was the challenge.

I always believed that it was possible and Haramara Retreat is my personal and resounding response.

1. Physical Wellness
Physical wellness involves aspects of life that are necessary to keep yourself in top condition. Optimal physical wellness is developed through the combination of beneficial physical activity/exercise and healthy eating habits.
2. Emotional Wellness
Emotional Wellness implies the ability to be aware of and accept our feelings, rather than deny them, have an optimistic approach to life, and enjoy life despite its occasional disappointments and frustrations.
3. Intellectual Wellness
Intellectual wellness is engaging the individual in creative and stimulating mental activities to expand their knowledge and skills and help them discover the potential for sharing their gifts with others.
4. Spiritual Wellness
Spiritual Wellness is a personal matter involving values and beliefs that provide a purpose in our lives. It is the search for meaning and purpose in human existence, leading one to strive for a state of harmony with oneself and others while working to balance inner needs with the rest of the world.
