Let Go of Doing, Come Back to Being

May 21 - 28, 2022

More than ever, we are conditioned to go, go, go. While the world spins around us, we rarely get a true opportunity to lean into our being.

ENTER HARAMARA.

This retreat center is magical. Beginning with the acres of private jungle and ocean views and an amazing experience that has been carefully and lovingly curated by the owner, Sajeela. All of the Casitas that you will stay in have been built by hand and are designed by local artisans with the power of nature to help us come back to ourselves. Open air on all sides, each one different from the next, the perfect blend of luxe and minimal, unpretentious beauty will help us drop in to all that this special place has to offer.

For eight days we will peel away the layers, the baggage and the barriers that have built up in today’s world and work to come back to who we truly are.  Each day we will meet for two yoga offerings as well as enjoy plenty of free time to explore the resort or the nearby town of Sayulita. Wifi and electricity are limited at the so you will have the option of truly disconnecting for the week if you so choose.

A typical day at Haramara will begin by waking up to the sounds of the ocean and the jungle. Coffee and fresh fruit will be available before our first yoga practice of the day. After a more active morning yoga offering, there will be a nourishing breakfast buffet. Then, spend the next few hours relaxing by the pool, getting a massage or reading on the beach before a group lunch. The evening yoga offering will be more relaxed in style; either yin, vin/yin, restorative or yoga nidra. After the evening practice we will have dinner together while watching the sunset over the ocean.

About the Instructors:

LUCIE GERACI

Lucie has been active in the yoga community for years as a student, teacher, and trainer. Her mission is to encourage students to explore their unique spirituality through mindful movement and meditation. With creative, challenging, and custom fit classes, she strives to apply her yoga practice into any flavor of fitness off the mat and into the world. Lucie received her 200-hour certification through Charm City Yoga in 2015 and her 300-hour certification in 2016 through Yogaworks. When not teaching, you can find her climbing, paddling, or hiking with her pup.

SARA CHAPLIN

After years of a consistent yoga practice and YTT, Sara decided to share her knowledge and passion for this practice with others. Yoga has provided an outlet that allows Sara to shed what she no longer needs and to create a space of expansion and clarity. Her intention for classes is to guide students to this sense of balance so they can bring it into their everyday lives. She hopes to bring a lightness and playfulness to her classes so that her students walk away feeling they have more of what they need and less of what they don’t. Sara completed her 200 YTT in 2016 and has completed many continuing education trainings as well.
