All of this a vision of jungle nirvana for your soul. We invite you to join us in this 7 night escape to Haramara Retreat; One of the most sought after yoga retreats in the world! Located in the beautiful pacific coastal region of Riviera, Nayarit, Mexico- it is a short, easy 45 minute shuttle drive from Puerto Vallarta airport.
Our twice daily yoga practices (optional, of course) will follow a natural rhythm of self-discovery and progression throughout the retreat and will include a daily uplifting, challenging, fun and accessible vinyasa practice in the morning with a complimentary and unique blend of yin, meditation and energy work in the evening- leaving you feeling renewed, refreshed and empowered by week’s end. The rest of the day is open for YOU to choose from an array of activities, enjoy the private infinity pool (sun and shade) or beaches, take advantage of Haramara’s unique and blissful spa services, or simply to relax.
Set an intention if you wish and make this very relaxing and inspiring week your own magical experience. All levels of yoga practice experience are welcome. About the Instructors:
In 2004 I became a student of the Yoga practice. My most notable formal training includes 200 hours with Jacqui Bonwell (2011) and advanced 500+ hours with Ame Wren and Kevin Courtney through Boston Yoga School (2015). I also completed Francesca Cervero’s ‘The Science of the Private Lesson’ training and work at merging art and science in both private and public class settings. It is an honor to work alongside Ame Wren as Co-Director of Boston Yoga School 200hr Teacher Training in Maine as well as lead international yoga retreats. I continue to study with many gifted mentors along the Northeast Coast and currently source inspiration from the Ashtanga, Iyengar, Power Yoga and Classic26 yoga systems to design an intelligent eclectic Vinyasa Yoga flow practice; blending strength training and functional mobility. My teaching is well known for delivering a strong, consistent, balanced and accessible approach to the yoga practice distinctively enriched with supportive and practical alignment. Passions lie in expanding consciousness and encouraging students towards developing a devoted practice that enables perspective, insight, joy and well-being. Facilitating yoga for all levels of practice and studentship has become a greatest pride and joy in this life.
Cathleen Wasielewski, BS-Pharm, RYT-200, E-RYT 500, YACEP, Masters of Intuition Medicine®
I have been teaching in a variety of venues and yoga studios in the greater Portland, Maine area since 2011. I have been so blessed to study with a wide variety of master teachers. My educational journey continues with current studies in Somatic Awakening® and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. I teach annual yoga retreats that focus on wholeness through meditation and asana practices.
My teachings have evolved through steady growth of both Vinyasa and Yin Yoga –first with a masculine and disciplined approach to the access of Self through body awareness and now to dancing with the Shakti feminine elements that serve the wholeness of our growing culture. The resonance between Yin and Yang guides to true healing in the rhythms of our humanity.
