About the Instructors:
Devon started teaching yoga in 2012 in Los Angeles, CA. She has since thrown herself head over heels into learning about every aspect of the practice and has completed numerous trainings with some of the most respected teachers in the country. In 2016 she co-founded Colibri Yoga Retreats with Juliette Rossato with whom she has led several retreats around the globe. Her teaching style is a mix of creative, intuitive Vinyasa sequences and slow, feel-good restorative postures. Devon is light hearted and one of the most chill people you’ll ever meet. Her classes will have you sweating, laughing and feeling energized yet relaxed!
Former professional dancer Estevan Valdes has always incorporated yogic movement as part of their regimen. However, after a serious injury in 2011 they gained a much deeper connection to the practice. They have since completed numerous trainings including Yin Yoga, Body Sculpting, and Barre Fitness. They teach from a place that bases trauma-informed language and awareness, perinatal-indicated movement, and an invitation to spiritually expand. Nothing brings Estevan more joy and purpose than to create an open space inviting folkx to shed, heal, grow, and to be empowered to dance with their most authentic selves. Estevan is also a Level 3 Reiki practitioner and will be offering private sessions throughout the retreat. You will have never felt more connected to your true self.
