About the Instructors:
Monique’s approach to teaching yoga is therapeutic, supporting a more integrated sense of being. She offers a deeply nourishing practice to support physical, emotional and mental well-being. These therapeutic yoga practices include yin yoga, mindful alignment-based flow, meditation and pranayama (breathwork).
Monique’s practice in Somatic Psychotherapy also informs the language and intention of her classes. She invites students to use their practice on the mat to listen deeply to the wisdom of the body to awaken to higher consciousness. Her deepest intention in teaching is to create a safe space for self-inquiry and healing through the body.
