About the Instructors:
Jai Uttal’s eclectic East-meets-West sound has put his music at the forefront of the world-fusion movement. Jai’s musical roots embrace everything from the hillbilly music of the Appalachian Mountains to the strains of Bengali street singers, from the rhythms and melodies of ancient India to contemporary electric rock sounds. Having traveled extensively in India, where he met many beautiful saints and singers, as well as his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, Bhakti Yoga became his personal path. Jai has been teaching and leading kirtans around the world for more than 40 years, creating a safe environment for people to open their hearts and voices.
Nubia shines a new light on the ancient traditions of Hatha and Bhakti Yoga. Her unique and universal perspective on yoga and her 25 years of experience teaching worldwide culminates in a fusion of authentic teachings, creative movement, embodied wisdom, and devotional experience.
