"Haramara is a sanctuary for the Soul." Rodney Yee

Testimonials
Our stay at Haramara was pure magic. I would be soooo happy to live there forever; I felt like I was home (if home were a place where everything goes your way!).

The wedding week and the event itself went off amazingly well. Everyone at Haramara is so able and graceful that I didn't have to think about one thing. Our guests all seemed floored by Haramara, and I felt really proud to have been able to invite people there.

Good Morning and Buenos Dias, Sajeela.

I am thankful you gave me your card so that we may stay in touch. I stayed at Haramara during the SolYoga retreat March 31-April 07 with Ben Crosky and Richelle Morgan. My casita was "Amber," and I miss her. I miss the openness of my bathroom window and lounging on the bench at the foot of my bed. Most of all, I miss the messages of transformation that Haramara gave, inspired and encouraged me with.

The butterflies, the dragonflies and the snakeskin carry such a deep meaning to me, and I know that my stay there gave me the courage and strength to do what I'd negated to do for two years.

I am an actress, and am now working full time on this path. Would you believe that the day I let go of my day job, I was cast in a film about Bikram Yoga? I was delighted, and I'm enjoying each step on my journey.

I am eager to return, Sajeela. I will send you some photos in my next message to you. I do hope you are well and look forward to your response.

With Love & Kindness,

'Here is what I lovelovelove about Haramara:

1. The hummingbirds.

2. The weight and beauty of the bed sheets.

3. The time to read, reflect, bliss out, BREATHE.

4. The sound of the waves in constant rotation.

5. The varieties of teas, pulverized dips. The inventiveness of Hugo and his kitchen to re-invent himself nearly every day.

6. Batia, the 4 month old visiting baby, who knows how to enchant by stealth.

7. The yoga, of course, the yoga!

8. The mosquito netting, wrapping myself like a natural cocoon each night.

9. Anna’s cheer and Sajeela’s vast heart.

10. Pause for cooking lesson…. 10,000 calories later, I have conquered Hugo’s Tabouleh!

11. The cleansing mountain trail commute.

12. The ambiance of casual kindness, good will, generosity.

13. The air lambent with jasmine, honeysuckle and Casablanca lilies.

14. A chance to have a proper, week-long, visit with my beloved cousin.

15. The china cups with two handles.

As Mark Twain wrote: “If I had the time, I would write a shorter letter.”

Best to all and a million, billion thanks

Thank you so much for one of the most beautiful and restorative trips of my life. How strange to come back to society after a week of breathing in fresh air and stillness! I was so impressed with all the attention to detail, the outstanding service from every staff member (especially Ricardo!) and the indescribably tasty meals. Please write a cookbook! I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I'm planning to come back in May 2013 for Nikki's next retreat.

Does Tomas have a direct e-mail address that I could send him a question about the massage? Both massages were great, I was just wondering about a particular technique he used.

Thanks again for everything. I will be back SOON!

It's true, Haramara is magical. There is something about that mountain that makes you feel completely relaxed and extremely well taken care of. The staff are exceptional and the food is incredible.

My entire Yoga retreat had the same experience. We all felt a shift in our beings, a feeling of being totally content and at ease in our skin.

I don't know what it is about that place brings out the best in you and makes you feel so happy, all the time.
The staff? The ocean? The Spa services? The Yoga decks over looking the ocean and mountains? The food? The community? All of it is incredible.

I can't wait to return year after year and continue to bring new and returning students so we can experience the beauty again and again,
Thank you so much to Gail, Cyndy, Ricardo and Anna.
You all made it so easy and extremely pleasant.

Just wanted to let you know what an amazing time we had in Haramara.

I think I have been there with students 12 or 13 times....
and it just keeps getting better...

this time we had a beautiful Thai-atsu class with Jim Gallas
the students loved it....i loved it...
Jim is a very skillful teacher .
It worked out so nicely to have him teach in the middle of the retreat week..
When I return to Haramara I would love to offer this workshop with Jim again.

More later

Hello Cyndy,

I have to tell you something even more amazing which I am still processing... For me, it is a miracle.

I have been ill for some time. I was diagnosed with a serious and complex health condition last year for which I was strongly advised to stop working in order to focus on my health. I have been working with some of the top doctors in this arena, consultations, labs, and powerful healers from various integrative modalities but I kept getting sicker and sicker. It has been hellish, and being in a very fragile state, I was also bedridden a lot of the day. My entire life and way of being was over. It was like the person I had been had died. By body was having none of it.

I was supposed to spend a month in India doing a panchakarma treatment to see if that would be helpful, but was unable to travel due to my weakened condition. The message I kept receiving was to go back to the land, live close to the land and swim in the mother ocean, and this is where Haramara came in. For some reason, even though many of my friends teach retreats there I had not been. I felt called in a deep way to go....

So.... what I want to share with you is this. Since the very moment and day I arrived I was almost completely asymptomatic - the entire time I was at Haramara. Outside of a bit of my dizziness due to my low blood pressure condition completely, I was asymptomatic. I did not leave the property except once - to go surfing! which I have not been able to do in years. I have not felt this way/like my Self as a whole, vital being, alive and well, in so many years it was 'shocking'. This is where I feel so much awe and reverence for Haramara. The "magic" is so powerful, yet deep and feminine - strong but not forceful. I am familiar with ley lines or vortexes as I grew up on a farm and lived close to the land as well as having lived in many countries since then and in various sacred places, but this was extraordinary. Coming back I still can feel the energy and connection - though my symptoms have returned, they are not as strong as they were. What I received from that place was priceless. What I continue to receive and learn is unfolding in so many ways. Thank you Cyndy. I really felt like sharing this with you. I shared this briefly with Sajeela before I left just to really let her know how much her vision/love has touched me.

So... with that... I thank you.

Warmly,

lor
