Spread across jungle hillsides, and connected by a network of private paths, there are 16 unique individual cabanas, an eight person dormitory, two yoga pavilions, an open air restaurant and a spacious spa facility. Each one of the cabanas has been located to offer the most privacy while still taking advantage of our spectacular views and all are designed with your comfort in mind. Two magnificent 360 degree view yoga pavilions, with their high thatched roofs and handcrafted hardwood floors, have been positioned to take advantage of the panoramic views of our lush mountains and while taking advantage of the soothing ocean breezes. The restaurant offers exceptional, creative, local cuisine that includes organic vegetarian and seafood dishes prepared by some of the finest chefs in Mexico. Our open air jungle spa is situated above the rythmic surf and puts you back in touch with nature as we pamper your body and spirit. With no electricity in the cabanas or restaurant one must leave behind the tedious demands of our electronic age while the jungle and ocean sounds soothe your days and evenings. You can always check your email or make a necessary phone call in town, but here, if you choose, you can be entirely free of technology as you reconnect with yourself. Oil lamps provide romantic and soft lighting in every cabana. Details:

Haramara is "One of the 10 best yoga retreats in the world!" (Yoga Journal) |

Deep thought and consideration was given to the placement and location of every structure at Haramara Retreat, so as to remain "at-one" with the jungle and beach, with minimal environmental impact. Every structure has been hand-made using traditional construction methods. Haramara was built without mechanical equipment compromising the virgin jungle. Haramara was planned to consider the environment AND the quality of your own and your group's experience.
